OMG! I hope you are safe and that everyone came through it OK and that your Vette is unharmed. I still remember the 1964 earthquake, I was a teenager at the time and that quake created a huge Tsunami that hit Vancouver Island and did a lot of damage to Port Alberni BC.

Fair amount of damage around south central Alaska no injuries. Road between Anchorage and Wasilla closed. Corvette ok just had a bottle of wax fall on hood no damage. Wish the tremors would stop. Thanks for the thoughts.

The first ten min. Of news cast on channel 4 was weather and sports, never even heard about Bush death either til I checked Google news. Guess I'll stick with my phone. Each time I delete news apps something big happens...

Yes, but after sports I turned off so I might have missed news about death and quake. I don't think weather and sports trump (as in cards) a death and quake. Personally I'd rather have headline news first.

Lots of news coverage here right after it happened. Aftershocks can last months. Tough on the nerves. Hopefully their intensity subsides. Stay safe.
