Default "New" Torque 2's on my '11 GS

Always liked these wheels and haven't seen them on the road too often. Look great in comp grey. Enjoying the change from stock silver GS wheels. Changed out sliver hash marks for grey from vettestripes to match the new wheels. Nice product.

I think I've only seen 1 other GS with these wheels. I like your color choice & coordination with the hash marks.

I have always liked these and have been lately considering these for my '13 GS in chrome. Where did you get them and are they a true GM wheel? Some members in the past have said the GM logo is in the casting, not stamped in which would or could mean some one bought the mold and are reproducing them. Members have posted pictures of them with a true GM stamp in them, I assume those are real

Very sharp. I'm not a fan of black wheels but those are very nice. I like all of the gray wheels, gunmetal gray from forgestar or any of those variants. I can't get my head around black. Your Fender badges are well-matched also. And then the color of your car is oh, well, one of the best Corvette colors ever Imo.

These were offered in the Parts section on this forum. I snatched them up pretty quick - I think the day or day after they were originally posted. I didn't spend a lot of time verifying if these were "real" - I didn't look for the GM stamp inside - but I've never seen them offered by any of the aftermarket retailers, and I did note the GM stamp and part # on the accompanying center caps, so I'm assuming they are real by process of association and elimination.

Thanks. I prefer silver or gray. I like chrome on certain colors as well. The black wheel thing that seems so popular these days doesn't do anything for me either.

I just talked to Bob's House of Wheels and he doesn't carry them. Ecklers does but not sure if they are original GM or reproductions with the GM stamp on it. I won't put any kind of repro rims on my car. I'll get it sorted out.

Interesting. I see the description says the ones they are offering are original GM wheels. I guess you have to decide for yourself whether you trust that advertisement or not. Everything about the wheels in terms of construction and finish with the exception of design was identical to the original wheels, so I'm 99.9% confident the ones I have are original GM wheels.

That's the problem. They may not even know what they have. If I did get them I would call first and see where they get them from, that might be a tip off. Like I said having the GM logo embedded in the wheel is the way GM does it, but I guess on these wheels anything is possible. This is what the real GM stamping looks like on these wheels.

This is from another set, don't know where thou and you can see the marking is clearly not stamped in, it looks to be a after thought.
