I recently put ZO6 Spyders (2011) on my Grand Sport. They still had the TPMS on them so I left them alone when I put the new tires on. The 2013 wheels, 2 with tires (rear) and 2 without (front) are sitting in the garage. I started the car this afternoon and the tire warning came on stating both fronts were at 1 psi...I think the car is still reading the old sensors that are on the Grand Sport wheels sitting right behind the car, it would explain the reading as the fronts have no tires on them. How do I get the car to read the new sensors? Is it just a matter of driving the car to get it to recognize the new sensors?
TIA
As long as the sensors from the Z06 are compatible with your year C6 then you just need to buy the tool and have the car learn the new sensors. I do not remember what years are compatible but you can see if the part numbers for the different years are the same.
PM me. I'll send you a link where you can buy a set of four TPM sensors guaranteed to work with your C6 for about $100. This is not a CF member vendor, so I can't name them here.
