mirror problems help
My last thread I didn,t make myself clear enough. My exterior mirrors glass goes down all the time and I must reset each time I start the car, using either FOB. Resetting the fob does not help. Is it a mechanical problem. Any one else experience this. Thanks.

First off I'm not sure all cars have auto adjust mirrors.
The car came from the dealer with two fobs I and 2 programmed for car.
You can have up to 4 programmed to car.
Only the first two programmed will word system of auto adjust system numbers or not( not matter, just first two.)
Assuming one of the first two proggramed fobs is being used.
YOU need to start the car and adjust everything as you like.
After all, is adjusted you need to decide if your driver 1 or 2 on the door panel.
Choose #1 or #2 button push in till you hear a beep.
Next time you enter car with that fob, get in close door--- push door button for that fob. 1 or 2

Same r using seat exit (middle button) slide seat to the rear to adjust how far back.
then push middle button till a beep is heard
FOBS MUST BE FIRST TWO PROGRAMMED! else

Its a new issue just started.I know how to set them,but next time I enter the car they face all the way down and need to be reset, The manual won,t tell me why. Does't any member understand my problem.They keeptelling me how to set the memory. It must be mech or electrical. Thanks

Jeez, don't get all pissy, folks are trying to help by asking what may, to you, seem to be obtuse questions.
Have you checked for codes? Have you checked your settings in the DIC? I can't remember if there is a "park" feature that puts the mirrors all the way down so you can see the ground alongside the car.
