What fuel rail kit is that? I like the blue.
Im in the same mode you are.
Just installed my Holley valve covers. Cleaned up all the wires. Moved the big white plug to the back
next will be getting everything painted the way I want.
We have a lot of rain so. Have nothing but time right now.

I'm considering a hydrodip on the intake manifold. I'll see what it looks like once the covers are on. Still needs a good cleaning and I may change the routing of the fuel line..

hopefully this is allowed, but here is the link - you have to specify what color rails you want in your payment message. then have red, blue, silver and black. seller is very responsive if you ask questions. used stock injectors and seals, brackets lined up perfectly. the only cons were I had to modify the driver side safety retainer bracket on the rear side and the fuel line seems just a touch short. I ordered a 45 degree fitting that will help with my lenght and angle issue but I'm considering re-routing the fuel line when I put the valve covers on.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I didn’t even think about swapping the fuel rails. Seems easy enough.
I’ll be watching your progress

We could actually work on these engines. About the best we can do now stand back...stare and take a blind guess at what the heck we’re actually looking at.

Yup, my first thought the first time I saw a modern Vette engine.

When I got my C6 in 2014 I took a gearhead buddy for a ride; he was 74-75 at the time (has since died). After we got back I popped the hood, he laughed and admitted he had no clue what he was looking at.

That's probably why they're covering all the engines these days with plastic panels. Just trying to minimize the confusion for us 'old-school' guys.

Wish I could have kept my C2 and the C6.
