Mass Air Flow question?

I was in the garage today doing some winter maintenance and I removed the air intake and filter, cleaned up the throttle body. I thought I might remove the MAF sensor and give it a few shots of MAF cleaner for good measure. This type is different from the one on my C4, is it ok to clean this type? Has anyone done this on their C6? Any pointers would be great.

I have cleaned mine with no ill effects.

I was having some issues because the oil from the filter got on the sensor. After a good cleaning with the spray everything is running perfect now.

Cleaned mine with no I'll effects. Did mess up my throttle body by cleaning it. Had to have it relearned by the dealership. They don't like to be opened by hand I guess.

Thanks for the input, I got the MAF sensor and throttle body cleaned up. Everything reinstalled and started the car and let it idle for about 5 minutes with no problems.
