Default Price for a FBO Widebody Base C6

Debating on selling my car for a new house for my family and I just wanted to get a few ideas as to what you guys think the car is worth.
Only seen a few widebody base cars with mods for sale and they've ranged from 24k-29k so I figured in that range.
2006 C6 M6
70k miles
Clean Title
ZR1 Widebody
LS3 Ported heads, Cam, and Fast 102 Intake.
Headers, Mild to wild, OEM ZR1 wheels chrome.
Car Needs nothing runs awesome, makes 487hp
Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance

1. Where did you get the widebody? Been looking for the front for a while from a reputable maker apart from GM.
2. Sadly it will likely not fetch more than 20k, perhaps more to the right buyer. I don't like it but that's the way the market's been going.

Wow...it's beautiful, good luck.

Corvette DNA says a show condition, high mile 2006 3LT is worth $25875...great place to start.

I do know one recently sold with a z06 widebody stock as can be with 60k miles sold for 28 so I feel my car would sell for close to or above it but just getting some feels to see what people thought thanks for the help tho man I appreciate it.

You have a great looking car! If the market value is estimated around $25-28K, is there any way that you could keep the car and do the house deal also? If you give the car away based on what you have invested there is a very good chance you will have a severe case of sellers remorse which can take away from the joy of a new home. Get creative and find a way to keep your beautiful car.

I think you should install a ZR1 style spoiler, stay in the house, and save enough money to buy the new house and keep the Corvette.

I would think that all of the widebody after market parts installed will hurt your value.

I would say $25K tops. but I would probably start at $27K to see if there is any interest at that price. Beautiful car, lots of nice mods, someone might see it is just what they want.

It depends on the buyer. Many buyers, like me, wouldnt even consider the car. If you find someone ok with what the car is, you may do ok. But i suspect that there are a lot less buyers for a car like this that one not wide body swapped.

I would hang on to the car. Selling it would be a hassle, and im not about that.

Seems to be in the range of a Z06. I think you're high, but GLWS.

I installed a rear wide body kit, a RK hood, a ZR1 spoiler, a splitter , and side skirts to mine and after I got done, I took it for a drive to the dealer I bought it from ( he's a friend).
He had a base 2006 similar in options and yellow color like my 2007 . He had a customer buying it the day I was there and he about changed his mind and tried to make me an offer instead of buying the dealer's car . I told him it was not for sale.

exactly all goes to personal preference I know I would prefer a widebody or wiedbooty over a base when done right lol

The modifications I think will turn off a lot of buyers. Especially the ones who arent going to think they're master hagglers and can get a car for half the asking price. Obviously not a rule, but something that I think you would see.

Not that I think the mods would turn off potential buyers - it’s a great looking car, but it’s still just a base model as far as value goes. I’ve had a lot of very nicely modded cars & nearly every time I put them up for sale they sat. Lots of tire kickers but nobody wanted to pay the higher price of having the car already done.

In every instance but one (and I’ve sold a lot of cars) I put the car back to stock, sold the mods & ended up selling the car within a week or two at the lower price. I also ended up making more $ by selling the mods separately.

I also own a Jeep Wrangler & finding a stock Wrangler is near impossible. Same thing happens when a Sport owner adds a bunch of mods & then tries to sell for Rubicon prices - doesn’t work.

You’ve got a beautiful car but I honestly don’t think you’d get anywhere near high $20’s for it when there are Z06s & higher mileage Grand Sports in that price range.

I had a similar Vette- wide booty with mods. It sold in a week...
Just don't price yourself so high nobody calls or comes to look at it. You asked so...$25K is what I would hope to get but priced at $24500should get you some traffic.
Mine was a 2011 w/24K miles...$30K
Good luck

I would not be put off by the mods, as long as it was done right; panel fitment, paint quality etc.

Looks like a nice car for sure, but 70K miles on a 2006 base model is going to be tough to get high $20's, regardless of the mods.

I was recently in the market for a C6, LS2 , Z51 with M6 trans. Ended up getting a 2006 Z51 with 85k miles for $16,000. Not a single mark on the car anywhere and drives perfect, a real gem of an example. If my budget was in the mid $20's, I would have been hunting for a much newer model year C6 with much lower miles.

Good luck with the sale, she looks like a beauty.
