Had some spare time
Over the holidays I had some spare time and decided to create some place to display my collection of die cast Corvettes and other items I have been gathering. Quite a few were gifts from my wonderful family. I did give up a trophy that I have been safe keeping for twenty years that was awarded to my son as a senior in high school. He entered a car we built together for his first car. it was a G body Pontiac Grand Prix that was barely street legal. I had to trailer it to the homecoming event and it stopped the festivities when he drove it onto the field. The trophy had a Corvette on the top of it how ironic. When he came to visit with his family for Christmas my grandson wanted to know where daddies trophy was so I showed him and handed it over to my son for his man cave now that he has his own home. I needed a new display so I got busy. Here are a few pictures from tonight now that I completed most of the displays. I used old TV stands and a retail rack I found on craigslist and in thrift shops. And before anyone says anything about the red flammable container on the floor it is empty but normally holds Nitro fuel for my RC car which is in a Flammable cabinet outback. And to think I'm almost 65 years old. I think I have at least one more big build left in me. I feel it coming on my GS needs company.
