yea I love this car. Yea it came the way it looks. I plan on making the roof black and putting black zr1 style wheels on it maybe a spoiler maybe a lip kit. Not 100% on the lip and spoiler though. Is the short throw that much better? I really don’t mind it.

Water leak.
So the corvette I bought was at a dealership outside. The vehicle has a water leak. Is this normal for corvettes? Do I just keep it in the garage and out of the rain or do I fix it. ( I am a dealer technician)

Congrats, first off, but no, these cars are usually dry cars. Maybe the windows are not indexed in the upper channels correctly letting in water. If the battery has been disconnected or lost all power, the next time the window are rolled up, they won't return all the way the next time unless the up switch is held up for about 5 seconds.

Welcome to Corvette Forum! This is a great resource, take some time to do research and you will find plenty of mods to consider... before you know it you will have rebuilt the damn thing!!

Congrats!
in order of how I would personally do mods (if you don’t want to stay stock)
1. Tires
2. MGW Short Shifter
3. Brakes (upgrade to larger brake kit)
4. DRM Bilstein Shocks (if you want more performance over comfort)
5. Headers
6. Exhaust
7. CAI
8. Tune (Or put this up to 5. If you don’t want to do headers/intake/exhaust)
thats all my opinion. I also left off any cosmetic mods. Headlights would look nice. LED taillights. Etc.

I absolutely would recommend going with the MGW shifter. One of the best mods on my Z06. The stock shifter feels downright sloppy in comparison. The shorter throws are also great. I couldn't stand the 2nd to 3rd shift in the stock setup. It's perfect with the MGW.

Hi I just purchased a 2011 corvette base 6sp mt. It is yellow and I love it. Decided to join the forum and try to learn about the right mods to do to it and any weak areas that they have. I’m a technician for a living and plan on modding/ fine tuning it over the next few years so hello everyone and I’m excited to join.
Modify your Vette today, set it apart from the rest of the crowd.
