Very, very nice. GS is wonderful! Just a recommendation, I suggest the exhaust (headers and all the way back) and tune before the intake. You will get waaaaay more out of it in that order. I wouldn’t even bother with the intake unless you cam it too.

Enjoy !!!!

Funny you mention that. I have almost always noticed that as well. Past few cars we had we would see the same one everywhere. Well minus my Camaro. I didn't see any in the area like mine with the Commemorative Edition.

It could have been because of the cold weather we have been having that none were out there. Will see if I see any other Vettes to wave at. Was always a nice feeling with my old one, just like my old motorcycle.

Have to see if there are any Corvette Groups around me.

Luckily I don't drive to DC everyday anymore in bumper to bumper. Just about 20 miles away from work now and don't have to hit the interstate at all, save for a couple trips to HQ. If I was still driving to DC I wouldn't be using the Corvette as a DD.

Thanks Everyone! Such an amazing feeling. It's funny. I didn't see one Vette on the way home. Was dying to wave at someone!
I just recently started kicking around the idea of getting a grand sport. My '05 base is Z51 with all the options and I am the 2nd owner so I am in no hurry to get rid of it. If I find the right deal on the right GS I might make the move but I am picky, has to be the right color, stick, 3LT, etc
I see a lot more auto's out there but I am not willing to give up my 3rd pedal, lol

Yes, DC Beltway and 95 traffic is the worst. Congrats on the great looking Vette!

Yeah definitely get what you want. There are definitely more autos out there, seems especially with the GS. My main thing I wanted was the GS, with good mileage and in the color I wanted. I didn't care one way about the transmission, and even almost leaned toward an auto due to the times I do have to take 95 into DC. I used Cargurus to find mine and got a really good deal. Price was about what trade-in would be on the car. It was a good 3-4k lower than the other ones I saw a bit further away.

Had to learn the paddles real quick, they are different than what was in my Camaro. The Vette each paddle shifts up (push) and down, (pull). The Camaro right paddle shifted up on a pull, and the left paddle shifted down on a pull. The shifter seems a good bit quicker than the Camaro was. I bought it right before Gen6 came out, and once again the only Red Commemorative within like 300 miles was an Auto.

Looks like you got a great car at a good price. Hope you enjoy it. It’s a rather easy job to fix the paddles so right side is up and left side is down. Search for it.

The real question is, what parts have you ordered for it so far?
