Can someone please tell me how to remove these steering wheel controls from the wheel?

The cover around the buttons( the black part) comes up (it’s sticky glued on) and there is a little hex screw underneath.

Yeah, just like Jabcat said, the black cover is sticky glued down and it just takes light steady pressure on it to remove it. Once the cover is removed, there is a chromed plastic part that the switches/buttons are fastened into that is easily removed with two little torx headed screws. The black plastic covers will re-adhere if kept clean.

Why are you replacing the switch? Bad switch or another reason?

You can also use a hair dryer to warm the adhesive.....makes it easier to remove.

I replaced the steering wheel and did not have a Bluetooth radio before. When I got the steering wheel it just came with the Bluetooth wires hanging like the last guy just cut the wires before he sent it to me.
Now I'm installing a new radio and I want to hook them up but do not know where the two wires hook to.

I'd like to replace those caps on my steering wheel with carbon fiber overlay ones.

vinyl wrap - pretty cheap on amazon. I also painted the chrome trim on my previous OEM wheel.

One more thing, there is a small plastic pin on the back of the black plastic cover, to properly locate it, so lift straight up when removing it.

I might consider leather covered ones some day, but will probably wait to get the horn & airbag done at the same time. Dang $500 for the airbag/horn cover is a lot to get my head around, from Apsis, where I got my wheel from. No carbon fiber in the passenger compartment for me, but engine compartment yes.

Contact RFE Designs here - my airbag cover with custom stitching was significantly cheaper than that.

OK I got the covers off and I can work on the wiring. Now I just need to find out where this green wire that controls the Bluetooth goes I can start installing my new head unit.
