How cold is it?
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

FWIW: It's -8 right now outside, but +80 in the kitchen and 73 in the living room -- thanks to Pennsylvania anthracite!

I'm spending my second winter in this house. My first with natural gas heat. Boy is this different. 62 feels like what used to be 70 when I heated with oil. Good thing too because with the poor duct design, it's a challenge to get the bedroom much above that.
In all seriousness, I'm amazed at how much lower the temps are and still comfortable. I've even gone around shooting an IR thermometer cause I can't believe it. Most folks who come in think it's 70. I'm used to cold at work, so it doesn't need to be 72 in here. But no way would I have believed I would ever be comfortable in this. Must be the humidifier on the air-handler. I can't figure it.

If you think Johnsonburg is in the sticks, my sister is married to a guy who grew up in Picture Rocks, PA.
We're actively witnessing the symptoms predicted more than 20 years ago. Record highs, record lows, record storms, record flooding, record rain, record wildfires due to drought, rising sea levels, spring water reserves depleting, etc.I mean, you can keep pushing some false narrative or you could do some research yourself and wake up. Shell is dealing with legal issues now because documents from the 1980s have surfaced implicating them in coverup of the "Carbon problem". Exxon is also in hot water because of internal documents surfaced from 2015. These documents disclosed that the oil company understood the science of global warming, predicted its catastrophic consequences, and then spent millions to promote misinformation.

We need to pump cold water into the center of the earth - so the heat does not radiate outward... lets start drilling holes and pumping water, hey it will also lower the rising water levels... Works for me.
Do the math on the shift of the earths spinning axis and watch what happens. I guess the shift was from too many people lining on one side of the planet, time to move...
When I was a kid they called it the POLAR EXPRESS.. and weather....
