427 all the way!!!! It is the most fun I've ever had in a car! I also appreciate that I might see a couple of them a year. I had my C7Z for a couple years and it seemed like I saw another one out almost every time I drove it. It got traded for another toy, but the 427 is a keeper!

GS Vert or 427 Vert
The 427 Vert is somewhat unique in that it's basically a Z06 convert. Only 2552 units of this model were made. The main diff. between the 427 Vert & a Z06 is the 427 has a steel frame due to no roof structure support. Approx. 200 lbs. heavier than the aluminum Z06 frame. However the 427 Vert. comes with carbon fiber hood, front fenders & floor pans. Feather weight compared to fiberglass. If finances permit, I'd take the 427 over the GS any day.

LOL, that's me! I had a 2002 Z06 about 6 years ago. I absolutely loved the car and I really do like the manual for when I'm having fun.....but for every day driving back and forth to work, it got old quick in town. when i was shopping for my C6, I definitely wanted an auto w/ paddle "shifters". so far I love it. If I could have 2, it would be a base and a 427 . I would do a manual again if I didn't have to drive it every day and stop at 15-20 red lights each way to work and back.
