This afternoon I lost power and the display said, "Reduced Engine Power," or something similar. The little check engine logo also came on. When I pulled in at home it began to misfire badly. I shut down, disconnected the battery, checked the plug wire connections and reconnected the battery. That cured it temporally but it all came back, with the exception of the misfiring. This is a 2007 LS2 base coupe, with approximately 35,000 miles on it, no mods other than a Billy Boat axle back exhaust.
I took the car in for service, they will not be able to get to it until tomorrow, but the preliminary codes that showed up were: B1325, Control Module Power Circuit, 03-voltage below threshold P2138, Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "D"/"E" Voltage Correlation 00-no additional information
What am I likely to be in for? This sounds as if it could be loose connections or bad sensors. The Search function here is giving me so much to look at, that I don't know what to look at.

I'm guessing that you've heard their estimates by now? What did they say?
They said it is indeed the throttle position sensor. $480 out the door. Seems high, considering what I see the part listed for, but they say the part is available to them and they will warrant that it will cure the problem. My dealer at home would have been less, but the labor rate is probably higher here in Ft.Lauderdale and their diagnosis fee is more.
I can’t complain too much, other than replacing an AC heat exchanger that got holed by gravel and cleaning the clutch switch connector, the only money we’ve put into this car was for tires and fluid changes.

I assume you mean accelerator pedal position sensor. I think the Throttle Position Sensor is built into the throttle body and you had to replace the entire TB. ??
P2138 reference the APP (accelerator pedal position) sensor. It is part of the entire accelerator pedal. Pedal (25835421) is an $80 part and probably 30 minutes to replace.
If you are a risk taker you could just pay the diagnostic fee and change yourself.
Yes, the whole throttle pedal assembly is being replaced.

If I were at home I probably would do it myself, but I’m not at home and would just as soon get it done by someone else. $160 for diagnosis, $160 an hour for labor, $130 for the part, then shop fees, taxes etc.
I spoke to my dealer at home, who I trust. They would be less by about $100 or so. Chalk it up to higher labor and diagnostic costs here in Fort Lauderdale.

No need to scare someone.. That thread showed that a part was on national backorder but it was replaced with a new part # that is in-stock and easily obtained.

Could care less whether the part was available or not. My car is not broke. Just repeating what I read, nothing more.
