Good morning y'all! I'm looking into buying a 2006 white convertible Corvette with red interior. However the dealership is asking for 20,000. I've seen newer models (07-10) for just a few thousand more. My question is: is it worth that much because of the somewhat rare red interior? I
Additional info: it has 68k miles, 2 owners, and it's an automatic. Also i am located in Texas if that makes a difference.

Thanks!
Bought mine three years ago, private party (2006 convertible, Lemans Blue, Cashmere interior and top, 3LT, A6, 62,000 miles, Z51). Paid 24 K. Happy
I don’t think 20 K is too high for a comparable vehicle.
IMO 20K for even a LT1 Vert is an okay price.
Red interior...I wouldn't pay extra, not really rare, yet classic color combo.
Yes, power top, Nav can make a difference as your are searching.
Then there is the LS2 motor in this year vs. an LS3 in later years and that can make a difference too.
Good luck.
I called the dealership today and they told me driver side seat has a small tear that was repaired (the very small white dot in the picture if you can see that lol). I figure I'll just replace if it's noticeable. I am also looking at a 4lt maroon/reddish 2009 but it's a coupe and with cashmere interior. The price on the 2009 is 21,000 with 56K miles. Only issue is they are over 100 miles away from me im opposite directions so I'll only be able to see one this weekend. Which one seems like the better deal to you all? Also, thanks again for the replies!

Depends on whether you want a coupe or vert. Clearly the coupe is a much better buy.

Never owned a sport car, current vehicle is a Toyota Corolla lol. So I can go either way, it'll be better than what i have now. I visually like the convertible more but the coupe has the better options and is newer so I'll probably go see the coupe if it's still available.

I had a 66 roadster before and that's all I needed to realize that wasn't my thing.

Not worth any more because of interior color to me, and I like red interiors.
It looks a little bro'd out and the car lot looks suspect, I'd be wary. At $20-24k you can afford to be picky, there are a ton of really nice 2005-2009 in that range.

Wrong choice. Buy the car you want, not the deal. If you buy the deal, you end up trading it in for the car you really wanted.

What does "bro'd" out mean? As in it's heavily modified? If so yeah it does especially since those rims doesn't seem like c6 rims.

The car I really want is a red, white, or blue c7 but that's not going to happen anytime soon lol. As in for the C6 I'm open to most colors except for black, yellow, and silver. Both cars I've mentioned have things I like so I'll be happy with either.

It appears you don’t know what you want. Drive a few cars and get familiar with what you do and do not like. Then make a decision and a deal.
I’ve had both coupes and convertibles. My choice is the convertible. It may not be your choice.
For even money, I’d take the 2009. LS3 motor, nicer interior trim, and Coupe flexibility. Have you driven both? For an overall driver, fun, somewhat practical sports car, I think the Coupe is the way to go. Those 100 miles may be the best miles you ever drove if you go to check it out. But what do I know? Look at my sig!!

This is good advice. Take your time and drive both cars. The wind buffeting can be bothersome in both cars with the top down/roof panel off. And make sure to drive above 55/60 mph so you can get the full effect. I prefer the coupe, but I’ve also enjoyed several converts (Chevelles, 911, etc.)...they’re all fun! Good luck with your search.
