I don't really mind waiting a little longer for an all new Vette, which is what I'll end up doing. Your opinion of the time frame sounds good. After all,I have a Z06 to keep me occupied.
There's something about "new" that is thrilling. I want to be the first in my area which means you'll order UNSEEN. Without creating a new poll.............
.......oh heck I'll create one. :yesnod:

I'm seeing how they've done it in the past. Otherwise, persons will wait the short time left for the C6. And above us is a post that makes a certain amount of sense. For $00 cost...they really can fudge a little on the power. Maybe they have reserved a cool color to introduce too.Another $00 cost thing that whispers "Psst, I'm new". :chevy
Gotcha, you're just going on speculation from past events. The way you talked in your original post and seeing that you were up in Michigan made me think that you may have some new real data for us, something that has been seriously lacking in the this section of the forum. Okay, I'll relax now.

That vipreatr really created a good post for C6 lovers. With only 2 posts under the belt he/she makes a post embroiled in controversy.
I do work in the auto industry, but it's at Ford, where I park my Z06 every day.And I manage to get to the GM Tech Ctr for the shows twice a year.
Hind-sight is a very good judge of what is going to happen. At the beginning of each new design, several ideas exist which are good.Several wheel ideas, color ideas, feature ideas etc. The job of some persons is then to dish out those things to us at the proper time to make us take the bait.
Ps Auto employees have election day off. Very cool! :seeya

I bet 2004 Corvettes will get a new one-year-only premium tint color. I don't know this from any official source. Here's my case: Admiral Blue in 1996; something to replace the Anniversary color in production; a $600 bump on every car with the new color; color is of compelling interest to people who don't care about performance.
