Real talk... the Z06 and GS are in the same room on the street. The z06 has the edge, but theyre both faster than 99% of other cars on the road and WAY too fast to use anywhere near their potential on the street.

Z06s are cool, and the ls7 is an engine we probably wont see something similar again... but so is the ls9. The ls9 is from a time that gm over engineered (lt4 cooling anyone?) Cool cars... but dont forgef who the real big dog in the yard is.
I mean it’s kind of relative to the amount of “heart” in said big dog....hands down the C6 ZR1 is the pinnacle of corvettes in my opinion, I’ve said it before I’ll keep saying it. The GS isn’t in the same neighborhood as a ZO6 never less the same room🙄 and back to the “heart” in the big dog....if your ZR1 is stock or only lightly modded and I roll up on you in my ZO6....you are not the big dog I promise you that....so it’s all relative.

Bottom line is is if you want a GS get a GS. If you want a ZO6 get a ZO6. Just don’t settle for a GS if you are after a ZO6, you’ll end up chasing your tail trying to make the GS a ZO6. While you can easily make a GS faster it’s still not a ZO6, just like my ZO6 is 💯% brining the heat....it’s still not a ZR1 and I’m just fine with that.🇺🇸🦅

The Z06 is a nice car but let’s not get carried away with how much better it is than others. Just when someone thinks they’re a little bada$$ somebody around the corner is ready to embarrass you.

Very true....and location plays a huge part. Houston/DFW metro Atlanta or some locations around shops known for putting out big power vettes.....the rest of the country odds are you won’t run into an 800+whp with out a lot of effort and a decent drive.

I agree. That's why they make different cars. The only car I'd own other than my GS is a 427 vert. But honestly id likely go for a c3 or chrome bumper c3 at that point.

The Z06 is special and the GS isn't, sorry. The OP already has a Z51 and granted it's an LS2, why would he settle for a GS? Also, the ZR1 is not even a possibility given the OP's budget so not worth mentioning.

Well I really want to Thank everyone for your inputs but I fell in love . Although it was really hard to get rid of my Z51 I just fell in love with the curves and raw power and a seriously good deal I could not pass on. Again Thanks Everyone! I'm actually stoked right now can not believe the deal I just pulled off. Pics or it didn't happen I know.

Here's what I got rid of She was beautiful too.

Oh I got to see if you guys get this . Tell me

Now here's what I got sexy curves and raw power.

Yes I was washing it before I do paint correction and coating . Already ordered new seat cover's from Ridies cause I have no idea who would put red with yellow .

You couldn’t make a wrong decision one way or the other. Enjoy your new car.

You've driven it so here's the question. Is the difference as much as you anticipated?
