I bought a red 2009 C6 convertible last year that has the Z51 package and red calipers with white corvette lettering. I have researched and can't find pictures/info on the source of the red calipers. Are they aftermarket?

I also have a C6 with the Z51 option, and my calipers are painted red. I've not seen this anywhere, in the sales brochure, etc. that it is a factory addition for the Z51. The Z06 comes with red calipers, the ZR1 has Blue, and any new C6 Z51 optioned cars that I have seen in brochures have Gray with white (silver) lettered calipers.
I'm pretty certain that my calipers and yours have been painted red by the OR.
It was certainly not available from the factory. For a while, there was a guy, mike the powdercoater, that was offering his services and powdercoating our calipers. That is who did mine. I believe his current screen name is 0corvette pilot and he might still be doing it as a hobby. Otherwise, there are others like TPSMak (not certain on spelling) that can do them.
Did you do that? I want to do that on my GS and try to match the CRM. Were the lettering painted as well? One thing I wish the GS Brembos had was raised lettering. Would make it easier to paint them white. Guess in my case I would need to use a decal.
Very clean job on the calipers. Guess taking them completely off is the best way to get them that good.

My buddy did mine last year and did a great job. However, I had him match the Monterey Red body color (basically the same as CRM) but I wish I had chosen a different color. They really aren't that noticeable to the casual observer; blue might have been better. But I'm not gonna change them now, and it's just my opinion -- others may disagree.
I have the larger Brembos on my GS and I think they may stand out a bit more than that. Not really looking for them to pop, I just don't care for the blade silver looking stock ones. Wish the original owner would have upgraded to a different than the base GS color.

Yes, I like that better.
I'll get a side shot of my car when I awaken it from hibernation and post it with yours. Unless dementia prevents me from remembering this.
