Default Vitesse Throttle controller

Anyone interested in a used Vitesse Throttle controller? Decided to go with the Cow booster. Posted in the for sale section.

Put this in the C6 parts for sale and it will be gone in no time. I bought mine in the FS section for a great price $75.00 and it works great

Would you mind giving your thoughts and experiences about the change? I've currently have a Vitesse and was thinking about switching as well. Thanks.

I had the newer version of the Vitesse. The **** broke off and they refused to replace it. Be aware that the COW booster seems to have much better support.

I would not do business with them again, even though I don't need a throttle controller any longer.

I would give you my experience but I have not made the plunge for the COW booster yet. I'm still debating this purchase.

Is the CoW basically a tune? Reading about it, seems like it does everything via a program. Their site mentions that the "CoW BOOSTER can easily be removed by almost ANY tuner or dealership having basic PCM re-flash equipment." It also says it isn't detectable, if it programs the computer, is it a different part of the computer and doesn't adjust the counter?

Can it coexist with an existing Tune? Or is it basically a Tune? Wouldn't a good tune be able to do the same things it is doing? Granted that may up the counter, but on these cars, don't think that should matter that much.

I do find the claim humorous "Gain 30-40-50- or MORE HP in the low to mid range right under your foot" That seems a bit misleading. It isn't giving any more HP, but adjusting the throttle at a particular range ... which I am guessing what they meant "right under your foot". and not in the low-mid range of the power band?

Unless it is a straight up tune?

Call me and I'll explain how it all works. To clear up any questions you might have, it's best to talk to me.

People have been ditching those things left and right for the better performance and 1,000% safety factor of the plug in throttle devices.

They are a BAD IDEA and anyone who has made the switch will vouch for me.

I've had my Vitesses controller for 2 years, and it works flawlessly so far. No issues whatsoever.

Not saying this is the case here but people generally bad mouth other people because they're insecure...

They are downright DANGEROUS. When the first fatality gets reported... and the Chinese manufacturer (and us PO BOX

distributor) VANISH..... you will have been spared.

To be honest..... it's not really my goal to bash them..... it only sounds that way.... BECAUSE I TELL THE TRUTH AND I'M HONEST.

Some people can't accept that.

The real reason is that the products are continually compared to MY product, and THEY ARE NOT THE SAME.

Additionally, people keep asking questions about my product (in throttle controller threads) and comparing the them.

Once my name gets mentioned and someone is spreading misinformation about my products (or asking questions about it)

I consider that an open invitation to explain the difference between the two using truthful words that average people can understand.

Again, the old proverb... The TRUTH hurts....

I don't have this issue with ANY of the other many products I sell..... For some reason, it appears to be only this one.

Likely because of all the misinformation forum members broadcast when they don't know any better.....

It's unfortunate, because I'd rather direct my energy to more positive things.

My Vitesse triggered a limp mode when pulling a left turn and I came close to getting hit by an oncoming car.....went into limp mode twice before removing....also had to pay a GM dealer to diagnose....

. But, it didn’t kill you. Thousands of these out there with no problems. Nothing is perfect.

Chuck KaBOOM will say anything to sell his product. Anything. And he will lead you to believe all his tunes are PERFECT without problems. Go figure.

Assuming you might drive your Vette in the rain or ice, or snow. keep the Vitesse. It has the capability to instantly increase or decrease the sensitivity based on road conditions and traction capabilities, where the CoW Booster only has a fixed setting or two and can't ever be decreased below stock. The lowest setting (negative sensitivity) also foils valet attempts to hot rod your car.

DO NOT use the words " out there with no problems "... Because obviously, there are plenty.

Please re-phrase your post to read the following.... "Thousands of these out there with no fatalities yet.... Nothing is perfect."

My Vitesse triggered a limp mode when pulling a left turn and I came close to getting hit by an oncoming car.....went into limp mode twice before removing....also had to pay a GM dealer to diagnose....

There seem to be soo many failure complaints, I'm losing track of all of them.

How bout, let's start a poll thread to determine just how many failures (of all shapes and sizes) for the Plug Ins and the CoW BOOSTER!.
