It may be as simple as the connector to the window regulator motor.....or it could well be the window regulator cable has frayed and is now jammed.
That 2nd scenario happened to mine. I had to replace the regulator.
Unfortunately, you are likely going to have to remove the door panel to see what is going on. That way, you will hopefully see what is causing the issue.

As a side note: Once you unplug the regulator connector, and reconnect it, the window will not work with the door open. It will have to be closed to work correctly, and possibly re-indexed. (I can't remember for sure) Once the re-indexing is completed, the window will operate again with the door open.
