What year is your C6? What is your intended use, just street driving? Might want to ask in the C6 Tech Forum too but provide some details on what you have and what you want to accomplish.

I went with a monster clutch, couldn’t be happier.

Check out Tick Performance, they have some good kits if you have to replace your slave Cylinder. I went through them and was very happy with their service.

My Slave was leaking and I upgraded the master cylinder to their adjustable master, stainless braided clutch lines, and GM slave cylinder with billet aluminum bracket upgrade (from the plastic stock one). I went with the LS7 clutch personally. All of that in a package through Tick Performance.

I also added the MGw short shifter at the same time so the whole dynamic has changed. Clutch engagement is absolutely perfect and shifting is clean and precise. Even my friends who have driven my car have commented how good the setup is. (One guy drives a 2006 M3 and the the other a 2018 Mustang Gt).

As a disclaimer, my car is mainly stock with bolt-one and a tune. I don’t plan on adding any big power adders. If you want bigger power than a Z06, you should probably look at other options like the monster setup. Again, Tick Performance has some nice packages which include everything you need for the job.

Yes, same problem plus a bad pilot bearing .... Purchased everything from Tick plus the LS7 clutch and slave. The results exceed my expectations, I highly recommend this set up. Be sure to get the remote bleeder for the slave. I'm still using the Gm master.

Sorry, its a 2008 C6 My fault that the slave cylinder went bad. Had been changing fluid every other year. But forgot last year. Leaning towards a C7 clutch but thought I would ask the forum.

Which monster clutch did you use Twin LT1-S or triple organic?
Stock (white or black) or aftermarket master cylinder?
How's the clutch pedal feel compared to stock?
Thanks in advanced

Thanks all who responded.. I don't race the car and is stock form. Years ago I changed cams, intake, exhaust Etc.. I am MUCH older now and just happy with the stock setup. I do my own maint tho. E-mailed Nathan at Tick and he was very helpful. I won't be doing the clutch replacement so I will be looking for a reputable place to take my car. I live south of Detroit. Finding one might be a chore. Thanks Bartster
