Default Detector Mount

eBay has what is called Vision Mount that for certain detectors mounts a lot higher. I have one for my V1. Works great.

I use the Blendmount for my V1 as well but I think the price is absurd. Someone on here made up a simple mount that moves the detector over and higher up. I think it uses one of the screws for the visor. Maybe they will post their solution. It looked good to me but I already had shelled out for the Blendmount.

Another vote for blendmount here. Here is a link to save you a few bucks. I have one in both my car and truck. They are worth every penny.

Blendmount looks great, but $130 for a small piece of plastic is hilariously absurd. Any knock-off eBay brands that rival it?

They are made of aluminum I believe. Very high quality as well. I posted a 12% off link if that helps. The last mount one needs. If one changes detectors you can get the proper clip for about $30.

I have one Blendmount in each car and move the V1 when needed. Works great.

Does anyone know the right mirror wire tap kit from BlendMount for the C7?

Thanks!

FWIW, I use one of these with my Escort, two years now and no issues.

The blendmount is nice, but the price is nuts.

I’m done with suction cups. They fall off the windshield in both hot and cold weather. The blendmount holds the detector solid at all times. I get a kick out of folks complaining about the $120 cost when they are driving a 50k plus toy.

Mine has not moved in 2+ years. Did you ever think that some of us can afford a $50k toy because we do not spend money on overpriced things ?

Guess I’ve just had bad luck with suction cups then. Just saying a $100 one time purchase shouldn’t be a huge deal for a Corvette owner. If you have to skimp that much to own a car I don’t think the car is worth it. I’d go back to driving a Mustang. But each to his own. I believe the blendmount is the best way to mount any detector and it’s worth the price.

Most suction cups suck, I will give you that. Skimping has nothing to do with being smart with your money, then again I don't go around with my hand in other peoples wallets.

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!

These are machined Aluminum, and black anodized, there is nothing cheaply made on the Blendmount.
