Default Corvette ready!!

Well, my 05 has been in storage since last November. Cranked it twice yesterday to get the oil circulated. Then hit it to start it up and it started right up.

Geez, what a great feeling to sit and listen to it run. It's been a long awful winter. My insurance kicks in May 1st. I'm ready for some cruise ins.

Let's git er on!!

Gravel road is finally free of ice so I uncovered mine on Tuesday, adjusted tire pressures, removed steel wool from tailpipes and it cranked right up. It had been stored since October 17th, way too long. Need to do a full clean-up, clay and Rejex but wife and I took it out for supper that evening at the next town over to stretch it's legs a bit. Smiles on both our faces after letting oil temp get up to normal and then put the pedal down. Left the Mild to Wild active the whole way to dinner, love that deep sound. Tried to get her to agree to dropping the top but she wasn't in to it and didn't want to bundle up. Still nice to have it running and ready for the summer.

It'll sit for a bit now as I have knee surgery in a week to clean up some torn and loose pieces of cartilage. Hope recovery goes quick as I have with three other scopes I have had done. Surgeon said he thought the knee was ready for replacement but I wasn't willing to go there, still dealing with the other knee replacement that isn't what I had hoped nearly two years later. So will try this for now and delay replacement till some time in the future.

I've had mine out several times already, including tonight to the local watering hole -- and had the top off for the first time this season.

I planted spinach seeds last week, lettuce going in tomorrow. Spring is here, life is good!
