Default Water pump replacement recommendation please

I now need a water pump replacement recommendation for my 2012 G.S. Corvette. Rock Auto has 4 different manufacturers to choose from and of course there's EBay also to choose from and I only want to do this job 1 time. I,m Leaning towards purchasing a Gates or GMB replacement water pump. Question: will a ZR-1 water pump be a better choice being that it has a higher coolant flow?
thanks boonie.

Get a GM water pump, anything else will need to be replaced much sooner....There's a reason the GM pump is more expensive then the others...WW

Wow, a '12 and you need a water pump already? Personally as a general rule I will stay with OEM parts unless an aftermarket part is demonstrably superior or I need a part for a specific purpose, ie, JOC suspension parts for my track day fun.

OEM will fit better too. With the Corvette space is limited so might as well stick with what works. As it with Corvette, you have to remove one part to get to the part that needs repair/replacement = more labor time or work.

my 07 started to seep in 2013, I’d say 6-7 years and replace.

GM only, for us 05-08 users, get the 09up pump with new hoses.

moves the the hose to the drivers side.

Had similar experience with my 2005. Water pump was replaced when I had work done for that oil pan gasket leak problem known on C-6 models It was a warranty repair.

I went OEM with a new thermostat...and while you're digging around in there change the hoses, they are 7 years old...peace of mind, priceless!
