Has anyone experienced one or both doors dropping just enough to rub and not close properly? if I lift up on the door while closing it shuts just fine. This always seems to happen(and not every time) after a drive and more so when the weather is warm. The car is a 2006 base coupe with 30,000 on the clock. Any help would be appreciated.
Might try taking it to a GOOD body shop.
If anyone knew how to properly adjust a door, any door, it'd be a body shop.
Be under $100, probably less, and done correctly.
Heck even a dealer's body shop would do for this.
Good idea getting this addressed ASAP.
That rubbing will surely chew-up the composite panel.
Then there'll be a real problem w/ a repair & paint.
It sounds like the door hinge is worn out. With the door open, lift up on the door and see if there is any movement. There should be no movement in the least.
