As long as its not the goodyear OE tires, you are fine. The all season michelin's are harder than most max summer performance tires, but they grip VERY well for an all season tire and will outclass the goodyear OE by a long shot in all conditions.

If you think there will be rain on your drive home, replace the OEM Goodyear tires before your trip home. I bought a 2006 coupe with 3 year old Good year F1 Supercars on them (50% tread), and in any rain on the road, they were hydroplaning like crazy. I instantly changed them out for the original Firestone Indy 500's non runflats, and what a difference in road noise, smooth ride, great dry and wet traction. I ran those for 3 tire changes, before Firestone changed their tread pattern to the newer style.
I just purchased new tires a few months ago (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S-non runflat) and just finished a road trip on them. Quiet, comfortable, great in dry and rain, and great control. They are as good or better than the Indy 500's were in dry and wet traction.
Here are the specs.

I have had the Good Years, Michelins and Bridgestones. I liked the Bridgestone RF the best., They seemed to be the quietest and also seemed to provide the best traction. I got 3K out of the OEM GY RF, 43 K out of the Michelin RF and 45 K out of the Bridgstones. I currently have 136 K on my 08 vert, I am the original owner. I have always gone with RF tires and on occasion it has been worth it due to a puncture. I have been lucky to be able to have all my previous punctures repaired. I am currently funning Michelins only because the Bridgestones were not available when I needed them last year.
