I've been curious as to why Haggerty [where my wife's Z06 is insured], and other estimators, seem to overlook the C6 vettes? We bought a yellow 2008 Z06 with under 30k and a 6 speed manual trans, and all we hear about are the C5 values and earlier. Is there a publication where we can see the value of our car and keep site of the value year by year? "My" thought was to take it back to Mecum, make a little profit and get her a vette she can handle. The Z06 with manual shift seems to be a little much for her!

A car exactly like yours sold for $33,000 at Mecum in January, so once you take out the lot fee and seller's premium where are you? I don't think auctions are the right place for modern Corvettes unless it's an extremely low mile, like <1000, commemorative or rare car that is likely to live in a garage and get trailered to shows for eternity.
If you want to throw out a line and see if someone bites, take some good pics and put an ad here in the C6 for sale section. Before doing so, take a look around at what 2008 Z06s are listed for, no one's overpaying here.
My inexpert opinion, list it for $35k, be prepared to knock off 10%. Especially if you don't have documentation of the heads being done and if the tires aren't like new.
