Default Harmonic balancer installer Socal

So I'm pretty sure a Power bond PB117SS harmonic balancer would be the way to go for me. I don't have my tools on me yet or time to change it on my own so I was wondering if there are any shops here in the SOCAL area would like to chime in on some install Qoutes. Or if any one has any HB experience with any shops in SOCAL and how much it cost you for the job.

I also read where some c5 owners just change the bolt with an ARP one and kept the OEM pulley and all was well. Is this true?
It also seems like there's a dispute between the ARP and a revamped OEM bolt being better.

I was installing a supercharger on my 2011 GS, so I needed to have my harmonic balancer pinned.

Even though my car has only 19,000 miles on it, I didn't trust keeping my OEM balancer, so I had a local shop install a new PowerBond PB1117SS balancer and pin it.

Cost of labor only for the replacement of the balancer and pinning it was $550.

The PowerBond balancer from Summit Racing cost me $223 and the ARP crank bolt, timing cover seal and the crankshaft pin kit cost me $103.

It's not the OEM crank bolt that usually fails or loosens up .... It's the piece of crap factory balancer that fails and starts to wobble.

I had my Harmonic balancer replace last year on my 08 vette. Mine was replace by American Heritage Performance. I have taken my vette there a few time for maintenance and have some work done on it. I highly recommend them. They are located in Lomita, CA.
