Shocks.
I have a "10 GrandSport I daily drive. I just installed my second set of Hankook Evos 2s. The car has 57K. I am thinking about changing the shocks. I like the GS ride. Maybe make the bumps smoother. I have heard that the Bilstein Sports are "better" than OEM. Any thoughts?
I changed my OEM FE3 shocks with OEM at approx 50K miles, then again just this past year with Bilstein Sports on my Z51 suspension. No comparison as far as I'm concerned. Much smoother ride, even with the stiffer suspension.

Yes, this is what I am hearing. Thanks for the response.
The 'Sports" get good reviews. I went with Koni FDS back in 2009 and love them other than the initial ride lowering. I lowered it prior and have been working my way back up ever since. In seriousness though the Koni's and the Z51 sways along with ditching the run flats have transformed my 2008 Base C6 handling.

My car was already lowered, so I can't confirm whether or not there's any impact to the stock ride height. If they do, my guess is that it's barely perceivable.
I got the B8 Performance Plus (Sport) Rear Part # 24-029780 and Front 24-029773
B8 is the sport for HD Z51 and Z06 suspension and lowered cars. . B6 is the HD shock which is for the base suspension.
My car is lowered on the stock lowering bolts which is miniml at best (Maybe 1/2" - 3/4") and has the Z51 suspension

When Bilstein say "the sports (B8) are for lowered cars"; this means that the Sports can handle a car that has been lowered. The car doesn't have to be lowered, it can remain the stock height.
I *think* the GS sits about 1/2" lower than the base from the factory, so it shouldn't be any problem.

I was going to order from Rock Auto, but I purchased them through my son's Engine rebuilding business, and he could just barely beat their price, so I'm saying Rock Auto.
Prior to my son getting his business, I used RockAuto.com alot for my vehicles. They are a good vendor, quick and reasonably priced, with OEM supplier parts, or knockoffs, depending on what you want.
I installed Bilsteins on my 06 Vert years ago. Thought that the original shocks worked smoother to do over would stay with the factory replacements. Paint the factory shocks yellow and install Bilstein decals will be greatest shock around.

I have spare Bilstein decals if anyone looking for some
