I used a blow dryer to heat them up, then slowly peel them off.
Whatever residue is left behind I used 3M adhesive remover to remove, use in a well ventilated area unless you don't mind getting stoned from the fumes........
Why don't you just remove the ugly labels with a hair dryer or heat gun?
Viable option! However, I did so on a previous BMW and it left not only a residue, but also the black material underneath was darker from not being exposed all those years.
Plus, it's nice to be able to have everything "factory fresh" if I sell it!

That's a new one, I've have yet to hear anyone say "gosh, I wish my car had those big ugly yellow warnings stickers on the visor", but whatever floats your boat.
FWIW - I just pulled the stickers off a 10 year old C6 yesterday. The entire job took less than 20 minutes. I used 3M Adhesive Remover to clean up the residue and the visors look awesome. YMMV
if you buy some matte black 3m 1080 wrap film and precut to size you can cover those little stinkers and not add any thickness. lay a sheet of paper over the label and using the side of a pencil you can transfer the size and shape on to the white paper to make your template.

Of course no one likes warning stickers. Rather, it's that people might like the car being in factory condition, even if that means the stickers and such - albeit not aesthetically pleasing - that came with the car upon delivery. You know, kind of like how old toys are more valuable when they have the original packaging!

Just out of curiosity I looked to see what it takes to replace the factory warning stickers if that was ever going to be a deal breaker. You can buy a new set on eBay for $21.

That's reasonable!
If residue is left behind... Isn't Goo Gone a bit harsh on the fabric?
I also covered my air bag warnings initially, then decided that no one sees these anyway from outside the car, so I uncovered them and they are in plain sight now.
Oh the horror
