TPMS odd issue
I've got 4 new sensors installed.
Twice now the -light comes on.
The 1st time it shows XX for all 4 sensors.
Then it picks it back up a few minutes later, its all good.
2nd time it shows XX for 2 sensors but hasn't picked them back up yet.
I purchased all yours and sensors from tirerack
What issue am I looking at here?

TPMS can sit on a shelf for years, not unlike batteries for FOBs. They're nearly shot out of the package.
Weird thing is Tire Rack probably turns-over stock enough to keep fresh ones available. Never know, though.
I'd be PO'd because those damned things need to be installed + relearn & possibly balanced.
Whether tire's removed or done by depressing tire shouilder, it'll cost something.
Something paid for once, already.
