Agree, somewhat high, and realize 23.5 is only the asking price... if it's what you really want, then the couple $$ more that you may have paid will be inconsequential in the grand scheme of things... offer 21 & see what you can get countered.
I also have an '07, bought with 73k for 19k at a dealer in NYS that was the best car buying experience I'd ever had... they fixed a little diff leak, replaced rear tires, AND delivered it >200 miles to my house... Ingersol Chevy in Pawling NY. I later discovered that it was a Z51 car, so I really got a steal. Car is as reliable as any other (counting new) that I've owned.

Thoughts on price
Little bit high, but it really depends on your location. Vettes in my area of Upstate NY are always priced higher than most other areas a few hundred miles from me from what I've seen. Mine is an '06 6M 3LT convertible with magnetic ride control, a clean carfax, Borla exhaust, 28,000 miles and pretty spotless and I paid that last month. A thousand bucks here and there shouldn't matter if you feel the car you're looking at is "the one".
Bought my 2007 3 lt, Z51, 2 tops 23000 miles in 2010 for $33,000. Have only had to replace fuel gauge sender unit and fuel pump, (while I had the car disassembled).
Yours May be a bit high, but if you Love it, go for it and start enjoying it, nice weather is here.
Just for giggles and grins, I ran the KBB on my '07. 30,000 miles, 3LT, Z51 and trade in is at $21,750. So if yours is a 3LT Z51, then the price is about right from a dealer. If it is not a 3LT or Z51 it seems a little high. If you really like the car make and offer and see what happens. you can always come up a little.
I purchased a 2007 Base 1LT about 1 1/2 years ago and paid $23,000. Mine had 24,000 miles or close to it. Car has been great with no issues. I upgraded the radio to a Navigation touch screen from an 08 Vette and upgraded speakers.
Fun car, no problems. Price seems good to me especially if it is a 3LT. If not, it still is in the ballpark. Offer less, you can always go back up!
Depends on how important low miles are to you. You find similar '08/'09/'10 with 50K and 3lt for same money, but you have to be willing to look around.

My Base '07 A6 3LT Coupe with 51,000 miles in Excellent condition was $23,500 asking one year ago, $25,600 out the door taxes/license/etc. Denver, CO. FANTASTIC Car!! Totally reliable daily driver, Tracked at a Race Track two weeks ago ... Wow!
By base, do you mean non wide body or 1LT?
What options are on the car?
07's only came in narrow body unless it was a z06..
And yes! Like messman said, make sure you check the HB for ANY wobble. They should run true straight and not move at all. Any movement take about $1k off the sticker or ask them to swap.
It sounds like a fair price for an exceptional car....yes, make an offer lower, but don't let time pass , or someone else will buy their dream! Good Luck!
