Default Sunrise (pics) ...

While others were starting off their Monday and week getting ready to head off to work or school, I headed to Mickey D's for some coffee and then down the road to one of my favorite 'quiet spots' about a mile from our house to watch the sunrise and snap a few pictures .. retirement is great, life is fantastic

Looks great, Jim. You'll have to show me that spot. Our house was completed last month and we're moving permanently in late September. Can't wait to enjoy that area.

OMG!!! You drove a Vette on the dirt and rocks! It is totally ruined!!!!

Very cool pictures! Love them! Did you clean it a bit once you got it parked? Body is very clean. Or just crawl to your spot?

Cool pics and nice spot.

I find since retirement (not officially yet) I find it hard to get up before sunrise, I enjoy my coffee by the pool, then a morning swim to wake up.

lol .. guess I'll have to junk it now and buy a new one.

Thanks, I gave it a really good detailing last week, this morning I just drove out there. The dirt road is only, maybe 50 yards total from where it leaves the paved road and loops back (from the cliff edge); between taking it slow and no wind, didn't raise any dust.

Gotcha, only 50 yards, probably only half ruined it. Just buy a half another one. Wanting to get mine up to the blue ridge and take some pics. Hard to find the time or the weather to cooperate.

Great pics, I find on weekends the best time to leave the house and go for a cruise is around 6/6:30. Driving the country roads and nothing around except for the occasional classic car and driver that has the same idea as me.

Oh, and a Congratulations on the Retirement

Thanks, didn't even think about entering, but what the heck; it was a tough decision, but I went with pic #2 above.

That #2 is a beaut. Congrats on the retirement, I hope to join you in 22 months. However my sunrises and sunsets will have to be sans corvette unless someone comes up with a amphibious wide body conversion.

Water access only
