I would agree!!! it was beautiful here the other night as well. it was our first downtown cruise/car show of the year. Downtown Erie shuts down about 10 blocks of streets (as well as a few side streets) of the downtown area and it fills up quickly with all kinds of awesome cars. they park on both sides and down the middle .

on the way home at about 9pm, it was just starting to get dark and was 74 degrees ...... cruising with my babe with the top down enjoying the summer breeze!!!

I met my sis and her hubby for supper at our favorite watering hole last night, and I would have had the top off but I've got the worst cold I've had in many years so I left it on.

But it was a perfect day and evening!

When we left, my sis asked me where I parked because she HAD to check the Vette out again -- loves the color. It was dark outside but enough lights were around to make it look great.

I bought it a little over a year ago and it had around 14,000 miles. I'm making up lost time for the 1st owner!

It was a stunning, warm, top-off weekend here -- finally.

I don't get it either but I'm in the same boat as the OP. I just picked the car up and it had under 14K on it at 7 years old. Previous owner's loss and my gain. I like looking at it as much as I like driving, but I don't know how someone can just let it sit there. I'll have no choice as it's now my daily driver. The only issue with that is - I don't drive daily. However, when I do need or want to go out, I won't have another option but to take the Vette, but that's fine by me. It's a bummer to take it out in crappy weather when it's sitting there all nice and clean and shiny, but that's the case for me with any vehicle. At least I don't have to deal with bitter cold, ice, or snow here.

For you people who can't figure it out, as I've posted before (this comes up regularly) here's how this works:

Human beings are very different and have very different lifestyles. This becomes self-evident to most people by the time they get to age 20 or so. But apparently not to everyone, although I never met ANY adults who didn't know this until I came to this forum five years ago.

Does the CF tend to draw clueless people to it, who remain unaware of their fellow man's varying lifestyles? I have no idea but it certainly is a curiosity.

I work at home and drive a total of 6-7k miles per year. About 2.5k of that total is on my summer time, fair-weather Vette toy. Do you high-mile guys think you are more of a Corvette owner than I am? Or are superior in some way? Sure seems like it.

I went easy on this post -- some of my previous ones were much more critical and I didn't use any Vaseline. I should go back, dig them up, rate them from easy to harsh, and just copy and paste them in the future as appropriate.
