clock returned yesterday
while driving and heading to gym something caught my eye and I almost lost control the clock popped up
I was shocked pulled over and tried to set it. I was very nervous so it took a little time, at first it didn't hold
so I read the manual and it seems to be ok. I was reluctant to turn the car off for fear it would go away again
don't know what happened but happy it's back hope every one get theirs back soon.

I have an '05 built in April of that year … my clock went out this past March when the battery was replaced at a dealership … I've been following a number of the treads concerning this issue .. I was back at the Dealership for an AC related issue, and asked if there was an update from GM … there is a bulletin which describes a sequence of button pushes on the unit to "wake up" the clock, but unfortunately, it does not work with the earlier units (mine included) … so you might want to visit your dealership, and see if it works on your unit.
