Default Shakes HUD

I’ve got an ‘05 corvette with a shakey heads up display. I believe the cause of it was driving with high PSI in the front tires and on bad roads.

Anybody have a link to a solution or any information on how I can repair it?

thanks, Daniel

Lost on high pressure in the tires, since they should only be 32lbs cold (same as the rears).

As hud, here is the write up on how to fix it.

What are you doing with 45 PSI in your tires ?

Look at that sticker on you driver's door panel .... it tells you that both front and rear pressure should be 30 PSI

Exactly my question lol. I went to a local tire shop for new tires, and once I realized, I was already home and the shop was closed.

High psi is only a small part of the problem if any at all. The problem is the plastic HUD unit. You may be the last guy with 05 that hasn’t had a problem or you live in a state with great roads.

It’s been a garage queen most of its life lol. I’ve recently began dailying it and I feel like I’m just encountering every ‘05 Corvette issue one by one (airbag sensor, traction sensor, HUD, etc.) I live in Oregon and roads are pretty good for the most part.

You should be able to let air out of your tires at home without having to go to the tire shop!

Ditto that .... I am thinking that the OP don't even own a tire pressure gauge.

It's definitely a weak design in the HUD. The unit I installed over 10 years ago from a wrecked 2006 Z06 has just started giving me the same trouble last week.
