Only one idea,
If it HAS to be parked outside tape some plastic over window opening, duct tape would work nicely securing plastic.
I'd honestly ask car be parked inside, for obvious reasons.
Issue could be door pad, more likely window regulator.
Neither's an expensive fix.
Replacing an interior & electronics due to an open window during a storm, is.
BTW before anything have you tried disconnecting battery, reconnecting after a few minutes?
Force rebooting C6 computers has solved many-a-gremlin w/ C6 electronics.
Be sure to re-index windows IF reboot works.
G/L, update what shop finds.
