Default Question on 2008 C6

Still looking to purchase a C6, is there any 'truth' to the 2008 being more 'problems' than earlier/later C6's (going by website information)
Thanks

I don't think so. I never had any problems with my base 2008 Coupe. Different engine than the 2005 - 2007, LS3 instead of the LS2, with 30 more HP.

That was my thought also, but on second thought not sure of a used Corvette, not sure what could of been altered , but if see one that probably is bone stock would consider.

I may skip the the C7 with the C8 so near. Plus hate the rear end, tried to like.

The first reviews on the C6 were actually good but take reviews with a grain of salt, the good thing a car that old has had the problems probably fixed by looking Carfax.

I have had no problems with my 2008 convertible other than the common failures that you can fix yourself. door not opening, air bag connector etc., however, I would move up to 2009 as the 2008 does not have blue tooth. A lot of them have been changed to after market radios with it so check that out if blue tooth is important to you.
