Default 02 Sensor question

I have a 2005 base, Z51 package, automatic. The car has Kook's long tube headers with no cats in the x-pipe. Due to emissions testing I am replacing the x-pipes with a Kooks that has cats. Can I use the same two 02 sensors that were in the uncatted pipe even though they are located farther back? Also on the one I am installing it has an extra bung in front of the passenger side cat, do I need to get an 02 sensor for that or can I plug it?

Thanks,
Bob-

I have Kooks headers and cats. My system has four O2 sensors, two in front of the cats, and two aft of the cats. The Kooks kit included harness extensions for the rear sensors.

What I thought was going to be an easy swap may not be so. Trying to save a buck I bought the Kooks X-Pipe used and have a bit of a fitment issue, got that solved but this 02 thing has me worried. If I need another sensor or two, my new / used X-Pie has only 1 extra bung, I may wind up throwing in the towel and get a new exhaust from headers back and be done with it.

Have your tuner eliminate the down stream sensor, screw them into the bungs and hide the wire harness.
