Default Clueless about this sensor...

So apparently having aged another year while replacing the water pump and radiator on my 2007 car, I have managed to forget and can’t seem to figure out where this sensor plugs into. It is down by the outside air temp sensor and the horns. Any thoughts from the wonderful community will be appreciated.

cheers,

-james

If I'm looking at the same place on my '05, its the under hood light. Its my understanding that only the '05 cars have it hooked up to the light.

Thanks Dutch, I thought I was truly losing my mind. Which may yet still be true, but this was getting to me. Lol!

Connector for the hood light, and on later models that hood did not come with a light, you have the cap off on the connector like you have instead.

So seeing that your connector is capped off, will bank that your hood liner does not have a light.

Thanks for the confirmation Dano. The car has only been apart for a few days as I like to take my time. Yet still, I couldn’t for the life of me remember if that went to anything. This getting old crap is killing me. Lol!

Tell me about it !! I'm right there with ya. (But I can't stand the quality of work by other people, so I guess I'm stuck.)

BTW: My son give me this idea, Use your cell phone and take lots of pictures as you take the car apart.

I am going to have to start doing that. I have a few more small projects for the C6 car coming up soon.
But I am also about to dive into the restoration of my 1996 LT4 z28 next weekend.
Lord knows there are parts and body pins and bolts that are MIA.
Per your suggestion (and your sons) I do believe picture documentation and labeling zip-loc snack baggies is going to come into play.
