Which one?
700 miles x 2 = 1400 miles road trip coming up. Which one has the honor - my '05 C6 or my '12 BMW X5. Both 80,000 miles on the clock.

Buddy....you ever heard of "climate change"? The world is coming to an end. I say you need to take a bus with 70 other smelly passengers.

Depends on how many people are going. If just me and the wife, I'd take the C6 and make the road trip more enjoyable.

If it's going to be mostly/all interstate, I'd take the BMW. If there is going to be any significant fun 2 lane driving, I'd take the Vette.

Taking the I-roads is not a road trip. They're just an expedient way to get from A to B.

I also have a C6 and a BMW X5.... if it is a fun trip and no snow or ice - the C6 always goes. only the Winter time for a long trip for a snowboarding does the BMW go.. I guess that is why the BMW only gets about 6,000 miles on her a year.

If you're going solo and don't need a ton of storage then I'd take the Vette.

If no more than 2 people, don't be silly and take the C6.
It's a comfy road trip vehicle, much more fun, and ...well, it's not a BMW

I am just amazed when people ask questions like this.
It's a car, drive it like you stole it.

Park the C6 only IF you are NOT having sex with your Girlfriend or Wife because you are saving her for the next guy. IF you subscribe to this foolishness -- then by all means park the C6 and don't drive it.

Both will be comfortable. The real difference will be luggage space. You have to pack very light with a C6, especially a vert. I don't know about the BMW, but I suspect the C6 will get better gas mileage on the Interstates. In early April we made a 2 x 1,000 mile round trip from StL to NYC., Four weeks later we did a 2 x 1,500 round trip from StL to Ogden, UT.
