Shocks
Considering new shocks, 06 base with 53,000 miles on original shocks. Looking at upgrading to bilsten b8's. Will there be a noticeable difference or just stick with oem shocks?

Don’t know if you know but the B8 are for Z51 cars and the B6 for base. Either one is an upgrade from OE. The B6 will be better then stock, think I recall some who have added B8 to their base have upgraded to a Z51 sways but don’t know if its recommenced or just a plan to stiffen suspension.

Either B6 or B8 will have a noticeable improvement... I put B6’s on my Z51 (just rears to date (fronts giving a little trouble due to broken center stud) & could immediately feel a huge difference in ride quality. Expect a little less front end bottoming out due to the stiffer dampening... you’ll be happier bottom-line.
