ECM:P0449 Error (Help!)
Good morning,
Yesterday my car threw a CEL triggered by the above code, so I did some research and learned more about the system. This morning, while letting my 2005 base warm up, it shut itself off while at idle. From what I had read yesterday, this system should not affect driveability... Can anyone help me diagnose this?

P0449 refers to the EVAP vent solenoid (not to be confused with the EVAP Purge solenoid). Can also relate to a loose or bad gas cap.
Vent solenoid is in the right rear wheel wheel. 13 bucks and easy to replace.
Neither problem should cause rough idle or stalling.
