Weight issue

Was asked to haul two homecoming candidates in a parade for homecoming. Would this be too heavy for the lid. I have a 2011 GS convertible. Thanks

depends on both your weight and theirs combined.Max gross weight for corvette is just 423 lbs.2 occupants in car and each weighing 212 lbs would would place car in over loaded condition

Don't do it!
The mechanism that keeps and locks the tonneau cover down is fragile enough, besides the composite possibly cracking!
