My headlights had clear sprayed on them which is yellowing and cracking. What grit should I start with to remove the flaky clear coat?

600 then work to a lower grit until it starts coming off. I needed 180 to get mine off.

Thanks

Sorry that I'm no help.

Thanks, phil
For those of you that have "crazing" haze+cracking, it's internal and won't be restored.
Better to just get new lenses - coincidentally we sell the DOT units

Were you able to restore them with the headlights installed or did you pull them?

Did mine installed. Just taped around the paint and went to town with a drill and sanding pads.

Clearly, English is not your first language. Either that, or you have zero comprehension skills. Good luck to ya anyway, kid.
