OBD Code P0302
Just recently took my 2008 thru inspection in NJ, car was running great. easily passed inspection and upon leaving i noticed a miss. and Service Traction light came on. made it home no issues but putting scan tool on got diagnostic code P0302 # 2 cylinder misfire. started car next day ran good for about 3 minutes then same message and miss came back. Short of ripping MAF sensor out, or fuel injector and or coil Has anyone experienced this , Will it reset itself or just start troubleshooting each component.

Mine did the same thing on my C5.Ended up being a bad plug wire.Never thought it could be that with the traction light also.Bill Curlee put me on the right track by having me check the wires and the boot wasn't completely clipped on the plug.Cheap and easy place to start!
