Battery hold down

is this the correct battery hold down screw and clamp

What is it you're trying to achieve? A battery hold-down is the small plastic piece that bolts down at the bottom of the battery to hold it in place.

That is not a battery hold down I don't think... C6 Corvette battery hold down look like this....

Those are just what they say they are, the battery cable terminal adjuster, those are the parts used to tighten the battery cable connection to the battery post on both the negative and positive cables.

Sorry wrong term. I lost the nut off of the battery and all I have ever found searching here was band aid fixes or buy a whole new cable

There is nothing about Corvette batteries, cables, or terminals so that you have to buy exact replacements.

You can buy universal terminals that will work anywhere; they are only a few bucks apiece. Cut off the old terminal and replace with the universal one, available at any auto parts.
