Default Crank Position Sensor #2

OK so after all the work I thought i had it fixed but nope. I was driving around after the replacement and all was good. I stopped at the local Haris Teeter for a few things and when I went to start the car is was real slow, I didn't think it was going to start but it finally did. It ran like crap all the way home and the Funny thing is that the power steering was really hard, makes no sense at all. I cleared the code and started the car and it seemed fine. Well I drove to work and back today and the car ran Great, total of 80 miles. I checked for codes and there was none. I am stumped. I might try a battery test, maybe it is getting weak. The starter looked fine and all the wires going to it were perfect. I removed the wrap on the wires for inspection and then re wrapped them just like the factory did. I'm wondering what runs in line with the crankshaft position sensor that might be a little out of wack?

looking, looking, searching and inspecting. Every wire I look at looks perfect. I'm going to Advance tomorrow to get the battery load tested.

I have only had my C6 for about 2 months now and last week I was picking my daughter up from school and at a stop light a message came up and said to service the charging system. The power steering didn't work, the AC started blowing hot and the temp gauge went through the roof. I pulled over, let it sit for a few minutes while I checked to make sure it was as hot as the gauge was saying. I started it up, it ran fine for about another mile and it happened again. I was only about a mile or two from home so I limped it home - it ran fine, just the same symptoms as above. At home, opened the hood looked at the battery and found the previous owner installed a battery that was too small and was sliding around and made the negative cable loose. I removed the cable, cleaned all the connections and reinstalled it (and shimmed the battery to hold it in place). So far it has been fine, but I did have to travel 2 days later for work this week. I am going to get a new, proper size battery when I get back. Not sure if that helps, but maybe take a look at the battery and connections like you said.

OK so I tested the battery today and it was at 8.2 under load. I replaced it, I'm thinking my issues are gone.
