Tech2 Serial Cable fail to connect
I'm not able to get the TIS2000 S/W to recognize the Tech2 with the cable that it came with,..
I've got a laptop running XP SP3
Is there a decoder ring on setting up the serial port to communicate with the Tech2?
I configured the COM1 port for 115k, 8, none and 1. No flow control
I'd rather not spend the $ on this replacement cable:
Any suggestions?

I was able to get it to recognize it this morning.
I was taking the Tech2 off the splash screen and going to the 1st set of menus and the TIS2000 software wouldn't connect.
When I connected the Tech2 and left it on the splash screen it communicated just fine. Go figure!
