Default Shielded Cable in Engine Bay

Anyone know what this cable is. Looks like a shielded video cable but appears to be stock. I can't trace it due to the amount of items in the way. 2006 Base convertible.

I'll have a look at my car to see if I have that. It's a coupe but also a 2006.

OK, I had a look, and that shielded cable is the Hood release cable, which runs from the driver side, under the coolant reservoir, across and atop the radiator and on the passenger side of the fender to the hood latch.
Here is a pic of the diagram. The shielded cable in question is #10 on the diagram. #19 is the passenger side hood latch
Hope this helps

4sumerz, thanks a lot. I thought that was what it might be but seemed a little unusual that it was made like a shielded electronic cable. It works fine so i will just tape the bad spot to make it a little more presentable.

Or you can cover it with wire loom. That will make it look new
